We have given local directions below for when entering Airvault. For assistance from further out please let us know and we will be happy to e-mail more instructions.
From the Poitiers direction follow the D725 into the town. Follow the signs for Centre Ville - go past the Gendarmerie on the right, down the hill and past the Church and Market Hall, again on the right. At the end of the road is a roundabout, with Groupama on the right, we are opposite Groupama on the left, with the Hotel du Cygne opposite. Recycling bins are on the corner next to our garage. There is parking in front of the house/garage, however if that’s full the public car park is diagonally opposite on the other side of the roundabout.
From the directions of Parthenay, Bressuire or Thouars join the D725 towards Airvault. Ignore the first turning signposted Airvault centre ville with 4 flagpoles and the town's name in flowers at the junction. Continue straight on, still on D725. Pass the town name, over the river, and just after crossing the river there is a sharp right hand corner with a left turn off it. Take this turning, D27 Rue de la Gare, go over the level crossing, at the fork keep left and this brings you up to a roundabout. At the roundabout The Hotel du Cygne will be on your right, a car park on your left, on the third corner is Groupama and we are the house on the other corner.
